Home improvement plans are still proceeding with everyone. Just take a look at Canadian Tire, flooring stores, carpet stores, Rona, etc. All are busy. But people are being very careful on where they are spending their money. Many are waiting for sales and doing a lot of comparison shoppping. We're all in the same boat. When you own a home, it costs money because you are constantly improving. Instead of waiting to spend a few thousand dollars when you decide to sell, sellers are fixing things slowly so that they don't feel the pinch of spending the dollar all at once. I am also a true believer that the market will stabilize. I think we have to wait for the election to take place south of us. I don't think the market is falling apart. I believe that the price reductions we are seeing are making the home prices realistic. No longer can someone get whatever for a home. We as agents must now consider the assessed value of a home upon listing. Now the sellers have a lot of competition to sell their properties so the homes must be in tip top shape and with many improvements. With our positive outlook and with the help of great mortgage specialists, we can educate our sellers and buyers and show proof that our market is okay.<BR/>Bettybettybhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08259437906517729725noreply@blogger.com
